   When a pallet is designated as being rackable, it has the capability of being used in a warehouse racking system. There a number of popular racking systems in use today. Each provides a distinct level of support for pallet use.

  

  Rackable pallets are generally manufactured with a double face, double deck, runners or a picture frame bottom. The pallet's specifications will indicate the total rackable weight.
